2019 Literary Week: Saturday 26 October – Sunday 3 November

Celebrating its 9th year this coming autumn, the Petworth Festival Literary Week picks up on the remarkable momentum generated in 2018 with a wide ranging series of talks and literary events featuring some of the country’s highest profile authors and commentators. Touching on current affairs, food, sport, history and architecture amongst much else, events will spread across four venues and in the words of festival director Stewart Collins, ‘will re-open Petworth’s own ‘Open University’ for a hugely stimulating week. To listen to and admire the thoughts, experiences and research of some of the nation’s top authors is a privilege which the Petworth audience has come to appreciate in a very significant way and as we approach the 10th anniversary of an event which initially ran over a weekend, we have something we can be really proud of – and excited by!’
